Aims and Objectives of Sanik Schools
The idea for Sainik Schools was born out of the need for an excellent residential educational facility for the brilliant and worthy youth, particularly those from our nation’s rural areas. In addition, the common schools lacked the infrastructure necessary to foster the high levels of physical, mental, and intellectual attainments required for admission into the Officer Cadre of the Defense Services. In order to become responsible citizens of India and leaders in various spheres of life, Sainik School students are influenced by the instruction provided to shape their social attitudes and meaningful approaches to life in general.
